The wounded land of Palestine is currently the second nation suffering from colonization in the world (alongside Western Sahara). Despite all attempts and political efforts on international platforms to end the occupation, our Palestinian brothers and sisters continue to endure hardships and deprivation of their basic human rights for the sake of survival.
Nearly 20 years of suffocating blockade and recurring wars in Gaza, where the oppressive occupier used all means of repression, persecution, and attacks that spared neither the living nor the dead. Add to this the extent of the massive destruction that has led to worsening extreme poverty and the deterioration of economic, social, security, and infrastructural conditions. This has left our Palestinian brothers and sisters wishing for death to find relief from the torment of hunger, oppression, deprivation, and the lack of security due to the brutal occupation.
Undoubtedly, the scarcity and salinity of water in the Gaza Strip constitute a complex and intricate problem, where political conditions and occupation intertwine, leading to a sharp deterioration in water quality.
Therefore, our association hastened to establish two large seawater desalination stations to make it suitable for drinking in the Khan Younis and Beit Lahia areas, benefiting thousands of Gazans.
The association also drilled 40 artesian wells and distributed more than 20 tanks in the Rafah and El-Arish regions, collaborating with the nomadic Bedouins
This project involves assisting needy families with a simple and achievable project, allowing them to earn a living instead of providing them with financial aid. Dozens of families have benefited from this project, where the association has rented shops for them and equipped them. Additionally, the association has purchased dozens of tuk-tuks and distributed them to families for use in transporting goods or providing individuals with transportation, enabling them to earn a livelihood through these means

In this context, the association has undertaken:
- The restoration of more than 65 houses.
- Equipping and furnishing some homes with electrical appliances, blankets, and bedding.

Under the slogan “Nations are led by knowledge,” the association has worked to invest in education as the foundation for the renaissance of nations and one of the key pillars for cultural advancement. This has been achieved through:
– Annual distribution of 3000 school bags.
– Providing school uniforms to 300 orphans.
is among the ongoing initiatives aimed at supporting orphaned families in the Gaza Strip. The Algerian Association “Les Mains Blanches” has a dedicated committee for orphans that has been active since its establishment, considering this work as one of its top priorities. The number of orphans supported in the Gaza Strip has reached 150.
The care and teaching of the Quran
are among the important projects in our association, where we conduct 7 campaigns annually. During these campaigns, Quran memorizers are honored, and financial envelopes are distributed to a number of Quranic schools to help them meet some of their urgent needs such as paying teachers’ salaries, renovating schools, furnishing them, as well as purchasing Qurans
The association supports financially disadvantaged university students by covering their tuition fees. We have sponsored more than 120 university students.”

The olive tree holds a sacred and blessed significance for Palestinians, symbolizing eternity, resilience, security, and peace. Palestinians have been planting it for generations, but the Zionist entity cut down over a million trees. Therefore, it was essential to replant these trees in the fields of farmers as they rely on their fruits for oil production and sustenance.
Our association initiated a commendable effort by planting over 100 trees along Algeria Street in Gaza, with each tree named after a martyr or hero of the glorious Algerian revolution
Our association operates a medical center in the Gaza Strip called the “Algerian Palestinian Medical Center,” providing free services to thousands of patients in Gaza. Additionally, our association has provided a significant number of medical devices and supplies to Gaza hospitals. Hundreds of first aid kits have also been distributed to hospitals and nurses who travel to patients’ homes or assist the injured on the roads
Among the forms of siege imposed by the occupation in Gaza is the cutting of electricity for long periods that can last for days and weeks. Even when they have electricity, it only lasts for 4 hours, and then it is cut again. To alleviate this pressing issue, our association provided over 2000 rechargeable batteries to families and students, equipped with LED lamps to illuminate the house for 18 consecutive hours. This facilitates daily tasks for the family and enables students to continue studying with proper lighting
