Our association, in coordination with the Algerian Sahrawi Brotherhood Foundation, sent a massive convoy benefiting thousands of our refugee brothers. This convoy consisted of 24 trailer trucks containing hundreds of tons of various food items, as well as blankets, bedding, tents, clothing, and other necessary supplies.
Additionally, our association sent a medical delegation composed of specialized doctors to treat patients. During this convoy, the medical center there was supplied with tons of medicines and medical supplies, in coordination with the Algerian Ministry of Health
The association is providing care for certain medical cases among our Sahrawi brothers living in the centers. This includes covering the costs of medical tests, conducting various examinations and radiographs, as well as small surgical interventions. Additionally, the purchase of medications for their treatment is part of our support efforts.
Due to the difficult situation faced by displaced Sahrawi families in the camps, especially the lack of employment opportunities, they primarily rely on food assistance to sustain their lives. Our association strives to provide a significant number of food parcels to be distributed among Sahrawi families.
Our association initiated a campaign to purchase Eid sacrifices and distributed the meat to our Sahrawi brothers. Our association continues its efforts to provide a number of sacrifices to bring joy to them and complete their celebration on Eid day.
There are thousands of children from the Sahrawi people who may become orphans due to the loss of their parents in the long-lasting wars that have been going on for decades and have not yet ended. Our association has sponsored more than 120 orphans.
Educational sponsorship refers to the monetary amount provided to support needy students to continue their studies, as well as to support some volunteer teachers in need so that they can continue teaching and spreading knowledge. This sponsorship can sometimes be used to contribute to the equipment or renovation of some schools
Given the great reward for the Iftar of the fasting person, our association strives to prepare hot meals for the Iftar of hundreds of fasting individuals in the Sahrawi camps during the holy month of Ramadan.
